All of our metal table legs and bases are made-to-order to your exact specifications. To order a custom base, simply select your desired style, then go through the respective drop-down boxes in the product listing to specify your base dimensions, material size, and color and finish.
Individual table legs are typically a more economical option. The legs are independent from each other, and have the versatility to be mounted wherever you see fit on the tabletop. However individual legs require a secure connection to the tabletop in order to maintain stability, as such they are typically not suitable for glass top applications since they cannot be mounted to the glass. They can work for stone tops, but they require a plywood underlayment to be screwed into, which would be adhered to the stone.
Metal table legs do not typically provide any support to the lengthwise direction of the tabletop either. As such, with certain configurations or especially when mounting to a soft wood, the legs can sometimes flex at the mounting point, which causes the whole table to sway back and forth, known as racking.
