Mantis Style Metal Table Base
The Mantis Style Metal Table Base is a unique adaption to the more traditional Parsons Style Base. This base is excellent choice for all applications, including dining tables, kitchen tables, side tables, entryway tables, coffee tables, desks, and more! This base will work for wood, stone, and even glass tabletops. This piece will create a unique conversation piece to any project and adds modern and industrial accents to a traditional design.
The legs of this metal table base are cut from solid 1″ thick steel plate, creating a rigid and supportive design. The top apron is welded from 1×2 rectangular steel tubing. The overall dimensions of this base are measured from the top outside corners. The measurement across the feet at the bottom is the same as the top. This base comes standard with mounting tabs welded to the top to secure the base to wood or stone tops. For glass top applications (pictured), the mounting tabs are omitted and we include rubber bumpers for the glass to rest on. The base also comes standard with felt-tipped leveling feet in the bottom for adjustability and floor protection. Made in the USA, with US sourced steel.
