The base is an excellent choice for glass or stone tops as well because it is a free standing base, without having to be mounted to the top. The base can be made without mounting tabs for glass top applications as well. The “Width” of the base is measured as the diameter of the base, or the size circle the base could fit inside. The measurement from end point to adjacent end point will be less than the overall width of the base. Made in the USA, with US sourced steel.
