Zig Zag Style Metal Table Base
The Zig Zag metal table base is great for dining tables, desks, conference tables, and much more! It is great for wood tops, glass tops, and stone tops. Scaled down versions of this base can be made for benches, coffee tables, end tables, etc. The metal base comes with a fully welded top frame connecting the metal table legs together, offering a much sturdier approach to traditional individual metal table legs, especially for glass and stone top applications.
This metal table base uses relatively simple shapes to offer a unique twist on the traditional geometry of table bases. It is made from structural steel tubing, using a blend of square and rectangular tubing sizes, fully welded for a solid construction.
For glass top applications, we omit the mounting tabs, leaving a clean, smooth surface visible through the glass and provide clear rubber bumpers to stick on top of the metal table base for the glass to rest. The pictures show the base for a glass top application. By default, we include mounting holes for the base to be secured to the table top. Make sure you let us know if you have a glass top when placing your order.
This base can be made from a variety of different tubing sizes depending on how prominent you want the base to look. Larger tubing sizes also offer more strength and stability to the table. It comes standard with mounting tabs with slotted holes as well as felt tipped leveling feet. This base is also an excellent choice for wood, glass or stone tops. Made in the USA, with US sourced steel.
We also offer the Zig Zag Style Metal Table Legs as a more traditional option for individual legs as opposed to the single piece base. For more information on the difference between metal table legs and a metal table base, see our Legs vs Base Guide to determine which is right for you.
